Bio: Anaïs grew up in France ice skating and playing soccer before she moved to Paris and fell in love with strength training. In 2016 she had her first group-class fitness experience and never looked back.
Through her own journey Anaïs realized how lifestyle and diet can induce epigenetic changes. She started coaching strength & conditioning and became passionate about Nutrition and Performance. She is certified as a Nutritional Therapist Practitioner specializing in Hormonal Health.
An avid hiker and extreme sports enthusiast, Anaïs focuses on functional and varied movements to be ready for a wide range of activities. You will probably find her practicing gymnastic skills or trying a new trick.

Bio: Fitness and health have always been a priority in Amanda’s life. She played many sports growing up, continuing to play lacrosse through college. Shortly after graduating with a B.S. in Kinesiology, Amanda fell in love with personal & group training and the way she could make somebody’s workout the best hour of their day. Amanda has over 12 years of experience coaching, has owned two different fitness businesses, and is passionate about improving the health and fitness of others. She believes that you should work hard in the gym in order to live your best life for as long as possible outside of the gym. Besides fitness, Amanda is a coffee enthusiast, a world traveler, loves to curl up with a good book, and enjoys all things outdoors!

Bio: Journeying through a range of sports from sprinting and long distance running, to 10 years with a ballet company, to rock climbing and skiing, Brit developed a love of health and feeling fit from an early age. She earned a degree in biology, wanting to learn more about human anatomy, physiology, and nutrition. Brit’s goal is to share her interest in the body’s form and function and to help others enjoy being strong and healthy.

Bio: Clint has always been passionate about staying active and engaged with his body. He played organized team sports on any team he could through his high school years. In his young adulthood, he fell in love with outdoor endurance sports. Now, he believes strongly in weightlifting and cardio conditioning as the best ways to stay fit and healthy as we age. Clint mobilizes, lifts, and takes on heavy cardio loads so that he can feel young and be ready for anything, particularly hitting the slopes in the winter. His favorite part of coaching is helping athletes organize their bodies to move well while challenging their own perceived limits.

Bio: Caleb was born and raised in St. Paul, MN. He grew up playing soccer, basketball, baseball and football before moving to the Bay in 2009 where he fell in love with fitness and began coaching in 2011. Caleb is an avid competitor, competing in both the "sport of fitness" and Olympic Weightlifting on a regular basis and is currently ranked amongst the top 25 in the nation for weightlifting in the 105kg weight class. He is a self confessed lover of the sport, and appreciates the challenge of having to be proficient at a wide variety of movements and not just specializing in one thing.

Bio: Originally from Indonesia, Ferdi began his athletic journey as a competitive swimmer from a young age through his teenage years. After retiring from swimming, he continued his fitness journey in a commercial gym, later moving to the U.S. where he discovered the “sport of fitness.” He quickly fell in love with this style of training that blended strength and conditioning.
Ferdi joined Flagship as a member in 2018, working closely with coaches to develop his skills and techniques. Ferdi’s dedication led him to compete in numerous CrossFit events. In 2024, his passion for fitness and helping others inspired him to become a coach at Flagship.

Bio: Ivan is a passionate coach dedicated to helping athletes deepen their connection to their bodies through functional strength and conditioning, nutrition, and stress-management. With over 13 years of cross-training experience, 5 x AIDS/LifeCycle rides, and an Ironman 70.3 finish, Ivan brings a wealth of personal experience to his coaching.
Ivan specializes in endurance sports, cycling, and whole-body training crafted to unlock new levels of athletic performance. His evidence-based programs are tailored to each individual, whether the goal is excelling in sports, building strength, or optimizing body composition.
Ivan’s coaching style is all about equipping athletes with the knowledge and confidence to discover their best selves, both inside and outside of the gym. Ivan speaks English, Portuguese, and Spanish.

Bio: Jackson Maschoff, born in Houston, Texas and raised in the vibrant outdoors of Phoenix, Arizona, has always been fueled by a passion for adventure. A dedicated mountain biker and a die-hard Auburn College Football fan, Jackson’s love for physical challenges naturally led him to the fitness world. With over 8 years of coaching experience, he channels his knowledge into helping others achieve their goals. As an athlete, Jackson has competed in both the sport of Olympic Weightlifting and CrossFit, as well as HS Lacrosse, Football and Swimming. As a personal trainer, Jackson takes pride in seeing his clients break barriers. His enthusiasm for fitness, combined with his deep commitment to empowering others, makes him a dynamic and motivational coach who is always pushing boundaries—both his own and those of the people he guides.

Bio: James mostly grew up in central Jersey with a background in endurance sports (cross country, swimming) and has played ultimate frisbee for the last 15 years. He joined Flagship in 2017 after moving to SF and started his strength and conditioning journey a few years before. James believes that health is wealth and wants to play a part in helping people realize their physical goals. His strengths and interests include aerobic capacity, gymnastics, calisthenics, and plyometrics.

Bio: Jalebi earned her NASM CPT in 2019 and then started as a personal trainer in 2020. After lockdown she became an independent personal trainer and was eventually able to focus full-time as a trainer and coach and earn additional certifications. She has worked as a coach for several years coaching HIIT and strength-focused classes with kettlebells and dumbbells. Her favorite thing about coaching is the energy created by the community/ members! Fun fact: Jalebi has been dabbling in aerial dance and hand balancing off-and-on for almost ten years!

Bio: Jon moved to the Bay Area from Richmond, VA in 2019. Fitness has always been a foundational part of Jon's life. Jon grew up playing basketball, lacrosse, running track and swimming. In college, he walked on to the Cheerleading team where he first got exposure to powerlifting and gymnastics. After college he turned to cross-training-style workouts because they seemed to most closely mimic the structure and intensity of his college workouts. As a coach, he emphasizes virtuosity – doing the ordinary extraordinarily well – so that all of his athletes can move efficiently and achieve their fitness goals.

Bio: Originally hailing from Los Angeles, John was inspired by his father who coached collegiate and high school football for more then three decades.
He has grown into his own in the city after extensive experience teaching different forms of fitness - from helping coach collegiate athletes at the University of California Berkeley, to helping adults achieve their ideal body composition at various boutique fitness studios over the past five years.
Outside fitness John enjoys reading, riding through the bay on his motorcycle, and traveling across the world for live music and nature. His motto has been, "Bet On Yourself." He enjoys taking the calculated risk to get himself and others outside of their comfort zones to be the best versions of ourselves we can be.

Bio: Raised in Florida, Liz moved to the city in 2017 to work in hotel management. COVID hit the industry hard in 2020 and she took off leap of faith, got her CF Level 1, turned her favorite hobby into a career and started coaching in the city. After years of functioning as only an athlete, she realized she has been made with “people skills” and a heart to help others reach their goals, one small step at a time. She coached in Potrero Hill until 2022, when she took a year off and went to South Africa on a faith journey. She moved back to the city in 2024 and started coaching with Flagship in June. Bio: Nick has been passionate about fitness from a young age, having competed in various sports including football, basketball, wrestling, and track. With over 10 years of experience coaching group fitness classes, he's had the opportunity to teach at multiple functional fitness gyms across the Bay Area as well as 9 Round Boxing. Most recently he coached at Alameda CrossFit before moving back to the city.
Nick cares about helping others move efficiently and safely while pushing them to get the most out of their workouts. Seeing members challenge themselves and support each other is one of the most rewarding aspects of coaching.
In addition to coaching, he's an avid athlete myself, having completed over 20 Spartan Races and several Tough Mudders. Nick also enjoy road biking, hot yoga, boxing, and skiing. His favorite movements include front squats, handstand push-ups, and various gymnastics exercises.

Bio: Maurits started his fitness journey as he was entering his 30s (2015), which started with wanting to look good at his wedding. It then very quickly became what is now almost a decade-long learning journey about human movement, mobility, performance and skill.
In 2020 Maurits became a member at Flagship. With the support and help from the coaches and athletes, there is opportunity to learn something new every day. He became a coach in 2024. His passion for coaching is in sharing what he learns with everyone, hoping to give each human one thing that is new for them.

Bio: Zach has been active in sports since a young age and simply loves to move. He was offered scholarships to run x-country at several colleges, but chose UC Riverside where he walked-on to their soccer team. Soon after graduation, Zach realized his calling was in health and fitness. He now shares his love for movement and competes in the "sport of fitness" to feed his competitive nature. He loves to inspire and show people what they are really made of. He is also a firm believer that the earlier in life a person engages in movement the easier life will be as they age.

Bio: Brendan has been an athlete his whole life, from baseball to rugby, kick-the-can to tennis. If it involves movement he is all in.
After overcoming a multiple year battle with chronic neck and shoulder pain that made any movement difficult at 20 years old, Brendan was inspired to share his knowledge of the human body with others. He now lives pain free and has competed in intramural sports, Powerlifting, the sport of fitness, and Olympic Weightlifting.
These days you can find him practicing gymnastics, trying not to get choked out in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, or surfing the cold Pacific waves.

Bio: Michael "Bing" Bingaman is driven by a love for movement, connection, community, and continued personal and professional growth, which has kept him engaged as a coach in the sport performance world for over 12 years. Bing has coached at every level of sport, from general population to collegiate teams to Olympic sport through weightlifting, baseball and softball, elite skiers and snowboarders, as well as elite cyclists.
As an athlete, Bing was multidisciplinary in high school, and went on to compete in the "sport of fitness" then weightlifting, transitioned into bodybuilding, and has since dropped 50 pounds to race ultradistance gravel and mountain bikes. Bing believes deeply in bringing joy and human connection into the world, and loves using training as a cornerstone toward fulfillment in life.

Bio: Nikki has enjoyed a myriad of activities from Bikram yoga, distance running and triathlons to salsa dancing, snowboarding and surfing. When she walked through the doors of her first group-style strength & conditioning gym, she was hooked. The variety in movement, supportive coaches, and sense of community drew her in and she’s never looked back.
In 2012, Nikki left corporate life to pursue a career in fitness and nutrition and is passionate about helping feel better in their bodies and have FUN while doing it. Her primary goal is to equip others to take charge of their health and live their fullest lives.
